May is over. I am glad about it. It was a difficult month and I hope June will be better. This is also the end of my learning to code with Python project. As already said, I did not reach all of my goals. The month was very busy and on the top of that, we faced some computer problems. However, I worked on my Python skills every day and could review a lot of basic Python knowledge.

What I achieved this month

As already said, I failed to reach my objectives for the month. However, I feel OK with it because I still have the feeling I did some progress. Here is an overview of my objectives.

  • Take the Codecademy course for Python once again: I worked a lot on this and I now finished 95% of the course.
  • Create a small video game: I did not do that. However, I read all the chapters about creating a video game in the book Let’s Code Python so I have a better idea now how I could create a video game.
  • Solve some coding challenges on the website codingame: I only worked on one exercise and completed it to 75%. However, I am already happy about that because when I first checked the website, I had the feeling I would never get one single exercise done.
  • Learn more about the way Python is used in the data science field: I did not specifically research that. I did read a little about data science though.

I want to work further on these goals in the next weeks, but without the time constraint I had this month. I hope I will keep improving.
